The part about giving your money to her sisters is supposed to be a bargaining thing where you and your 'brothers' try and buy your way into your wife's house to take her home. Or something like that. If you gave them a couple thousand you got ripped off :P

ye that's usually how much gets handed over. I tried to pay off my cousin's sister-in-law with a few Scottish pound notes. Didn't go down well.
