I am reading through your other ama now to get some ideas of what would work best. We are a mix of hard wood and rugs with 3 kids, 3 cats and a great Pyrenees dog. Lots of cleaning to do.

How are rainbow vacuums? I have heard good things but they seen quite pricey.
