He's not set-mining. If he thinks Jason is polarised, then he's ahead of his range, but Jason only stacks off with QQ+, maybe, so what's the point of re-raising/getting it in, when you're gonna be behind. I think he check-raises for value, if he's check-raising for information then he gets all the info he needs to fold. When he calls, he clearly knows that Jason is capable of stacking off with less than 99, especially as Ivey's check raise on this board looks so FOS. I think you're right about anybody else being criticised though, but there's a reason Ivey is considered one of the best.
