Hmmm this sounds like something I'm going to be reading about in the ABA Journal pretty soon. A witness in a nationally-publicized trial doing an AMA on Reddit before testifying. Interesting to see how this plays out.

That type of violence was simply not present while he was in power? You do realize that the Iran-Iraq War, which was caused by Saddam invading Iran and trying to annex part of it, caused a million deaths alone...right? That's not counting Kuwait. That's not counting gassing entire villages of Kurds. That's not counting all of the Iraqis he tortured and killed over his decades in power.

Do you agree that we dish out some draconian sentences here in the US for federal crimes? I'm talking about financial crimes and drug crimes.

What do you think of bullying tactics used by prosecutors to try to force a plea? For example...threatening to indict family members, etc.

Why do teachers complain about pay when they generally get much more vacation time than any other profession? Also, shouldn't the amount of pay be determined by supply/demand, like other professions? Getting a teaching certificate is not very difficult. If teachers were making $80k per year, wouldn't most people opt to become a teacher instead of choosing a more difficult major in college? Wouldn't that oversaturate the market for teachers to the point where we'd have a huge number of unemployed teachers?
