I have signed multiple such vaiwers through the years - even stating that you'll be responsible for the company's lawyers' costs in case you or your surviving relatives sue etc. Most good lawyers will tell you that at best these can be challenged in court; at worst, they are completely unenforceable - while I as a participant might be willing to engage in a risky sport; I cannot waive my right to live - assisted suicide, is not (yet) legal in the US; and similarly, while I can claim to take the risk; I cannot waive the company's responsibility to perform safely and avoid negligence.

Isn't it unethical to show up and discuss clients like that here (or any other media platform)?
