Is it possible for OneNote Touch and OneNote desktop to make use of same cache of notebooks to limit the space used per device. I love both apps but don't like to have two copies of same notes in the same device. I am aware that OneNote desktop makes two backup copies of every section. This means four copies of same data on one device and then backup in cloud too. How is it efficient?

Thanks for the answer. But their addons are way to expensive. I cannot afford them as a student myself. By the way, I wish OneNote should have inbuilt feature to create macros using VB script just like other office apps.

Do you recommend making use of onetastic addon in OneNote? Are there similar products?

OneTastic is free but OneNoteGem is not. I am already user of OneTastic. I know it is free. $20 per addon, nah.

I have no problem with two OneNote apps in 2 in 1 kind of devices. What if it was like Firefox metro. I remember setting Firefox default browser used to turn it into metro app in Windows 8.x. Same goes for Chrome too. I don't have urgency of these features, but request for OneNote team to focus on Desktop version's development. And for heaven sake please don't make desktop version obsolete.
