It was like 6 things that went wrong at once, a total catastrophe. I have worked at a Nuclear plant and while there is not yet a great way to dispose of spent fuel, the amount of safety precautions would astound you. After Fukushima, everything at our plant had to be seismically qualified (i.e. earthquake resistant). There had never been an earthquake any where nearby us in all of recorded history. They take safety very seriously these days.

I hope they make unpaid internships illegal soon.
