I assume you mean genome testing companies sharing results with insurance companies, which again is simply not happening and rather unlikely to. But your heart is in the right place.

If you have miles and can transfer them to Etihad, I'd suggest looking into that route. They have a good deal on US mainland to Hawaii at least.

It's not that bad - I certainly wouldn't hesitate to call the police when I need them - but I suspect most people in the US tense up when police are around, even if they're not doing anything wrong.
That said, I'm a middle class white male. I can't speak for everyone.

... no, it does not rank well compared to the commercial offerings. I'd definitely recommend a commercial anti-virus package if concerned, and combining it with Malware Bytes which now has integrated anti-exploit hardening similar to EMET. Finally, I'd install Personal Software Inspector to ensure your software is patched.
