Speaking as an atheist here - Sometimes people heal from trauma through religion. Either they reestablish their faith or they start from scratch. If it helps, it helps. It shouldn't be forced, but I'd imagine a lot of folks using this organization were fine with the way it conducted itself. If you read their website it isn't overly pushy, it's just how this one person decided to help themselves and others. In fact, if you read their Mission and Vision, it doesn't mention religion at all.

Thanks for doing this AmA. How do you plan on convincing the state of Ohio that Democrats have a better path forward than Republicans? This goes nationally as well if you're made Minority Leader, how will you convince a group of people who voted for a sexist reality star that they can trust our party to represent their interests?
