Are you concerned that what you see at work every day will change you?

I listened to your demo on the website and you sound great! What elements of your voice are most critical for your success and how did you develop them?

Many times I have heard some of the same complaints from the inmates in the local fed camp. They all theaten to get with their senator or congressman when they get out and expose the BOP and all it's fraud.

I'm sure there is validity to most of their complaints - the BOP is a classic example of a government bureaucracy that doesn't do a very good job with tax dollars. Dealing with the staff, as a free-world person, can be frustrating and perplexing. There is a malaise of apathy evident in many of the staff I deal with.

Seeing that is one reason I don't want the government handling my health care.

Thanks for posting - this is really interesting. Not a convict, but I'm involved in ministry activities in both state and federal prisons in Texas. It sounds much different than where you are. The fed low security unit in my area (Camp) has outdoor workout facilities, raquet/handball courts, walking track, football field and baseball diamonds - and air conditioning in the dorms. The state guys get none of these things.

No, but I see the Kairos guys all the time in the prison. Good guys.
