Yes. Uber > public transit.

Uber lost 1.2 billion dollars in half a year. I can't believe that anyone would use them as an example of private industry being more efficient. And if you're going to argue that those losses are meant to be an investment to create value elsewhere, that is exactly what transit agencies do for urban economies! And it's hard to imagine that a taxi could ever accommodate as many riders as a real fixed-route bus. It just doesn't scale that way.

I learned how to write in this 1 point microfont for my biology final. The day of the final came and I got a 95% without looking at it at all, because doing the notecard made me review the lessons.

I discovered your blog through this AMA and I have to say that I really enjoy your writing. Your style is clear and direct, but also grabs my interest and gives me a sense of your personality. How did you develop your writing skills, and what advice would you give to someone who wants to write better?

And you do know that social darwinism is pretty thoroughly discredited and not actually in line with Darwin's principles of natural selection?
