I've heard that your political leanings are quite different from those you portrayed as President Jed Bartlet. Is that true and did any of the arguments used in the West Wing force you to look at any specific issues differently?

You've said that at some point in the future, you would be willing to publicly discuss the 2000 election. Can you elaborate on your feelings about that time period, both then and now?

I'm working on my PhD in plant genetics right now and have received indirect funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to develop software for plant breeders. I just want to say thanks for making these opportunities available across the world and connecting the people that need solutions with those that are willing to dedicate their lives to them.

Is there any chance you'd be willing to give the commencement address at a Midwest land-grant university in May 2016 when I finish my degree?
