  • So the mental picture I have of this thing is that I enter a VR booth(?), put on a headset (audio+video) and go to town. Is my understanding correct?

  • Have you thought about incorporating the ... um... experience into other senses such as smell and touch? What is the extent of work in this direction?

edit: to add a question that came up when my friends and I were drunk beyond reason, because why not:

  • What do you think about the pervasiveness of AI sex in the future (I'm thinking 50-100 years ahead)? Do you think we will have robots that humans can have relations with (a la Bladerunner)? Do you think the next wave of sexual rights campaigns after LBGT will have to do with AI/robots?

Hi Jordan!

Huge Prince of Perisa fan here. I remember playing the original Prince of Persia on P2 desktops, and today I was playing the same game on my iPhone at the bus stop! (PSA: PoP is free this week on the App Store) So,

  • How was the idea for the original PoP conceived?

  • What do you think of the way Ubisoft has taken forward the PoP series, through the Sands of Time trilogy and now the latest PoP in which the Prince doesn't even die?

  • What do you think about bows and arrows in PoP? PoP 3D is the only game which has bows and arrows in it, something that I desperately miss in the remaining installments of the game.

  • What is the Prince's name?! :)

I'm glad you made it out alive, congratulations. My questions:

  1. Did the airline crew have any information about what was going on, or were they in the dark as much as you? Did they return to their stations and prepare for... any eventualities, as the passengers did, or did they go around speaking to the passengers and reassuring them?

  2. Were the passengers subdued, or was anybody visibly panicked? Was there an effort from anybody to assume the role of a leader/speak for the crowd? Since you say you kept an eye on the other passengers, do you think people would have snapped and broken down had the ordeal lasted longer?

  3. Although highly unlikely (and rightly so), if it turns out that the hijacker, who I gather aimed to seek asylum, was a victim of terrible genocide or other atrocities, do you think you will ever be in a position to consider empathizing with what he did? edit: To clarify: if he is institutionalized as insane for having had a mental breakdown due to the trauma, instead of being tried and punished as a criminal, will you consider it an injustice?

  4. Did you read the safety instructions in your front seat pocket to prepare for a crash landing before or after the highjacking? Were you aware of where the emergency exits were/pay attention during the emergency briefing? Do you think it would have made a difference?
