I think people are misinterpreting your comment. I'm a longtime vegan, and I would consider lab-grown meat/dairy morally acceptable. Not least because most people are just way too selfish to do the right thing whenever they have to give something up, so lab-grown products will probably be necessary to change our food system.

Follow-up questions: Do you have any plans to use the dominant economic system (capitalism, in many ways unfortunately) to help others adopt a similar sustainable lifestyle? Also, does veganism figure into the commune at all?
