Former Correctional Officer here: I can attest that at times I hated the job and would unnecessarily take out my frustrations on the incarcerated. I'm a super easy going person though which is why the worst thing I would do was a thorough cell search and make a bit more of a mess than necessary.

Honestly I did feel that I was better than those that were locked up, they were locked up. Some of them had shit happen that wasn't really in their control and I got that and felt bad for them (Example: 18 year old had sex with a 17 year old and the girls grandmother reported him). I wouldn't laugh at people or be condescending unless that situation warranted it, those guys had the best sense of humor of anyone I've ever run into but they could be dicks. So, in general, aside from the few times that I had to be a douche I was but more often than not if they respected me then I respected them.

One of the bigger topics that most candidates aren't talking about (except Hillary I believe) is the thoughts on education reform.

People are leaving schools with close to 6 figures worth of debt (I'll have 40k in loans) and it's not easy to pay that back. Other countries, like Germany, offer free college education. What are your thoughts on education reform and how would you first attack it?

I've heard it's bad to go into business with friends because of money.

Based on your past experiences how would you say it has worked out for friends who have gone into business together and what kinds of things should they do to protect themselves and the friendship/business?
