Felt odd looking just for myself
Don't worry about it. I was shopping for my kids before Xmas and I saw a couple of college age guys comparing some of the Star Wars sets. They kept talking in hushed tones and looking nervously at me. I wanted to say "Guys, it's okay. I'm 40 and I still build LEGO. Even after my kids have gone to bed."

It was meant to get girls who otherwise wouldn't be interested in Lego to try it
This was my argument to friends of mine who are feminists. They claimed that the Friends line was pandering. But don't tell that to my six-year-old. Sure, she loves her Friends, but she plays with ALL the LEGO we have now.

Given the massive amount of money this would cost, how do we reconcile this with the high number of people who drop out without ever completing their degree, or alternatively, those who remain in college seemingly in perpetuity? And one could make a case for subsidizing the education of engineers, scientists, teacher, nurses, et. al., but ought we using taxpayer funds to subsidize philosophy or Latin degrees?

Then why do I find so many trucks in the middle lane of a three lane highway? Is it really that urgent to pass another vehicle doing 70 when the truck apparently only does 72? Wouldn't staying in the right lane eliminate this?
