If you're ever in danger around a crocodile, great rule of thumb is to get out of your kayak and slap em as hard as you can in the face. You'd think that this would enrage them, but no, it does the opposite. In fact they'll be so surprised that they'll give you mad props and swim away.

Uhh, a lot of people/businesses do this because either 1: They don't want people spamming their regular account and want an account just for their AMA, or 2: Theyve never had a reddit account but want to put themselves out here because Reddit is one of the top 5 sites in the US.

Not all brand new accounts are vote manipulation. Some people just want to promote their business.
