When you talked to "soldiers" were they the army press team? Or were they normal lower enlisted, as in pvt - spc ranks? And if so, were those lower enlisted monitored by their chain of command?

Because let me tell ya, speaking from fort sill's cancerous leadership experience, that's what the problem is in the army as a whole. Shitty, uncaring leadership. Mostly at the upper ranks of command, like 1st sgts, captains, and god knows upward. No amount of "access to counseling" helps that.
