I intend to vote Green in the next general election but I was unaware of this. There still isn't really a better alternative but this definitely needs looking at

Is Pim a particularly common name in the Netherlands? I met a Pim once on a caravan site in Kent who'd be about your age. I'll assume you're not him but didn't think I'd ever hear of another Pim

From the New Statesman article you linked it states as a paraphrased quote from Miliband himself that

So our fifth national goal is that for the first time in fifty years we will make sure this country is building as many houses as we need. By 2025, doubling the number of first time buyers who get on the housing ladder each year.

And yet, you are

very much against massive housing developments like those proposed by Blenheim

and instead you propose

most towns and villages would propose sensible developments of appropriate scale for sustainability.

These seem pretty contradictory to me. You basically argue that we need lots of new houses but when lots of new houses are proposed you seem to be against the idea. This all sounds rather contradictory and as if you want all the new homes built elsewhere.

Anywhere but near you eh?
