I have tremendous respect for you and what you've done since leaving the "church." You have a lifetime fan in me just for that...and for playing Stacey Carosi on Saved By the Bell.

Keep up the good fight!

John - I was extremely taken by your experience with Tilikum and have been really impressed with the way you have explained the treatment of orcas and animals in captivity at places like SeaWorld. I read the paper you and Jeff Ventre co-wrote. I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts. Let it be known, I have two boys, 8 and 6, and they will never see the inside of a SeaWorld or animal park of the like.

Thank you for doing this film. It is by far the finest documentary I've seen this year and really affected me. How happy do you feel that there is so much focus on this film and the treatment of orcas because of it? I mean, Disney changed the ending of Finding Nemo 2 likely because of it. That has to feel awesome.

I think the key to this film was the trainers participation. It's easy to call foul on an organization from afar without effect, but when you have the people who actually worked the orcas saying what SeaWorld is doing is wrong, that takes on so much more of an air of authority that it's hard to dismiss. Samantha Berg, John Jett, Jeff Vetre, Carol Ray, all of them were fantastic.

I, too, am a former Jeopardy champion and you are requested to bring at least five changes of clothing with you to the tapings since they record five episodes each day. They only record for two days a week (at least that's what they did when I was on in the 20th season - when Ken Jennings began his run). So think about it - Trebek works two days each week and makes multiple millions of dollars. There can't be a better job than his.
