Been using OhmConnect in Toronto for about a year now. I've attained Platinum status, but as it stands... I've earned all of $10 to my name.

Any tips on earning more, or is $10/ year typical?

I've found the same, but still managed to get an average of 40% reduction... And still only made $10 in a year. And that's CAD, not USD.
