Our last Border Collie was really high drive, as he got older and couldn't run around so much we came up with some great games to keep his brain working ;) 'Hide and seek' was a good one, we would hide one of his toys while he was waiting in the other room, then ask him to come out and find the floppy, golf ball, baseball, tennisball, whatever toy we hid. Of course, it helps that the dog know the names of all their toys ;) Sometimes we would even hide stuff way high up, where not only could he not reach it, he couldn't even see it unless he was across the room from the hiding place...Once he spotted it, he would just sit and stare at the thing, or softly woof at us if we didn't notice at first.....Some hiding spots were so good it would take him a few hours of searching ;) After he found the thing, he would get a treat and have a good nap <3 Damn I miss that dog. Our BC now is a good dog, but she's kind of a ding dong after Marlin. He was freaking brilliant.

From your recommendation in the 1st ama, I recently purchased a Miele canister vac, could not be happier with it!!! Thanks so much! :) Blows doors on my old Dyson.

How likely do you think attack on our power grid is to happen? How long do you believe the results of such an attack would last? Thanks!

Just exactly how serious are class IV & V rapids? We went rafting on the Chatooga River (NC- Georgia border) during unusually high water, and after the fact heard about a few folks dying that season 0__o We took our 11 & 13 year old boys. They walked around the most vicious falls, but 2 other rafts in our group flipped. We probably would not had done that stretch if we had known just how much danger we were really in. So, how bad is it, really? Thanks!
