What's some of your favorite SciFi reads?

I don't think I've ever seen a 911 call center that doesn't use Sentinel 911 software. Ours was ringing off the hook last night, god I hate 3 day holiday weekends.

Obviously SOFIA is meant to travel the globe to have a high altitude telescope anywhere researches might need one.

My questions is if SOFIA and crew have, or could/would ever be, "Scrambled" to observe a stellar or planetary event on short notice?

How the heck did you manage to launch on the correct azmuth on the moon to meet back up with the orbiting command module? Also how much dV headroom do you have for correction once the LEM reached orbit?

Is the radiation problem (when going to Mars) not something that could be brought down to lower levels by using increased/improved shielding and meds to approach the safer levels an astronaut might experience on board the ISS?
