I’m a physician and your decision to completely reject biologics without even trying them is unfortunate. They can be life changing and the immune suppression is not as severe as you’re making it out to be. If you can afford them you may want to reconsider.

It's less than most US doctors. We don't really have combined college/medical school programs. So four years in college, four in medical school, residency 3-7 years depending on specialty, possible fellowship (1-2 years generally).

Wow you are being incredibly stupid. I would like to see if you have the same outlook when the doctors tell you the cancer has metastasized and you have 6 months to live. I am a medical student and one thing I have learned about is the extensive lymphatic system of the breasts. Essentially the lymph from the breasts drains directly into your superior vena cava, which is the main vein that drains into your heart. When those cancerous cells enter the lymph fluid you are done for. They will be pumped from your heart to everywhere around your body.

This is not a joke. This isn't just a lump. It WILL kill you. And all because you are unwilling to have what would probably be a 45 minute operation?
