I'm a child of a former pilot. How reliable is family, non-revenue flying these days? Back in the day, routes weren't flying 95-100% and we could easily jump on board with dad and spend Christmas with him on a layover in Vegas. I imagine it's much harder now.

How many conspiracy theorists do you get at your store asking to ship their manifestos to "The Director of Such-and-Such Federal Agency"?
Also, How many times a day do you have to explain that The UPS Store is not the local UPS center, and you don't have their package that a driver tried to deliver?
Or for that matter, that UPS and USPS (and even FedEx) are completely different companies?

UPS Guy here: Actually I like the FedEx guy on my route. His name is Joe. And (EDIT: I don't know her very well and don't see her as often, but) the FedEx Ground gal is pretty good looking.

FYI, UPS and The UPS Store are different companies. Granted, one owns the other, but UPS doesn't actually run the stores. It only sells franchise rights to the individual store owners.
The employees don't mix, the paychecks come from different places, and the stores are actually customers of UPS as far as pickups and deliveries are concerned.

According to IMDB, 'Said he knew he'd made it as a famous musician when he went to a party, saw Paul McCartney and before he could introduce himself to the former Beatle, McCartney recognized him and said, "Hey! It's Weird Al!"'
