Hey Todd, around about the time when you started Image and Spawn, my brother - who was about 10 - sent you a note about how much he loved your work. He had an entire room filled with Todd McFarlane stuff and sent pictures of himself in the room. A few weeks later I answered the phone and the voice on the other line asked to speak with my brother. I asked who it was. "It's Todd McFarlane". I got him on the line and you talked with him for about 30 minutes, telling him about the new book you were working on, Spawn, and especially about Violator. That was AMAZING! You made a 10 year old boy feel like the most important person on earth. How often do you make fan calls like this? Also, how did you get our number? ;)

Hey guys! The thing that made our collective action work PIPA/SOPA was that it was a 'doomsday event' that mobilized people around a date-positive to prevent a vote. What's happening now is significantly worse, but we've had to manufacture a date. Do you think that there is a conscious strategy on those who oppose Internet freedom efforts to move their agendas forward in a way that avoid future 'doomsday events' to limit the PIPA/SOPA effect?

Is the next Cold War going to be the surveillance state versus the encryption economy, in an escalating cost spiral that'll further diminish the fiscal power of the United States for questionable gain in a battle against its own citizens?

Maybe you should get Matthew Inman really pissed off at you so he rites you a scathing retraction - if history is any judge that'll get you 10x the visibility you got the first time!
