Hi OP.. I'm glad that you're alive and well. Being a Nepalese who is away from home.. It was certainly devastating to hear the news while barely awake.

Nonetheless, the media is only covering most of the damages on the capital city, Kathmandu. I would like to know how badly affected are the rural areas of the country?

Truth be told, the people of nepal has learnt to stop trusting the higher authorities and leaders when it comes to the issue of money. Countless incidents have led us to question them and this time is no difference. Politics is dirty in Nepal and I believe it still will be for more years to come.

Why do we even question our own leaders? In this time of need, our leaders have not even stood up and address the nation. Not even once. Us being humans who always look for a leader in times of need, we feel pretty much betrayed by the very people that we elected.

Anywayyyys, About the funds.. there's a petition for the funds that the prime minister is "handling" to be transparent in every angle. Please share this for the hopes of my country. We will rise up again.
