When someone insists that forgiveness is "healing", they're telling victims that they've chosen not to heal by not forgiving, that they're doing it to themselves, that it wasn't the rape or other abuse that hurt them, but their own choices.

The title says nothing except that you work in software, and even the OP doesn't tell me N is a game, only that you're game developers. I still don't know what kind of game it is, only that it was free and Flash-based. This can't be helpful, can it?
