In order to fix privacy, or any other problem that the US faces we must go straight for the source. We need to push for electoral reform. The current system of legalized bribery allows politicians to open super PAC's (political action committee) which can accept essentially infinite donations of campaign funds from unreported donors. Since a Congressional campaign can cost millions of dollars, this essentially allows wealthy corporations or individuals to hire and fire politicians. We must fight for greater transparency. Corporations are not people.
