I can't believe you got downvoted for this. Everything you say is true. It's sad that even here, people can't seem to look past their own traditional views and see that the thousands of arguments against consuming animal products outweigh the very few in favor. There seems to be a "don't tell me what's right and wrong"-attitude here that, strangely, has intelligent people completely ignoring (even ridiculing) a valid and important point. And yes, I also went vegan for the same reasons, coupled with some physiological aspects as well.
EDIT: I realized in retrospect that generalizing meat-eaters as "ignorant" was unnecessarily inflammatory and ignorant on my part, sorry about that.

I would imagine that a combination of cultured meat and a vegetarian mock alternative like Quorn could help boost the popularity of both products in the short term. Cultured meat lacks structure, Quorn lacks meaty flavor; cultured meat with Quorn, on the other hand, would seem to have the best of both worlds. Is this an option worth considering?

Do you have any recommendations for aspiring researchers in the field of muscle tissue engineering?
Are there any other, seemingly unrelated sectors (biofuels for algae research, pharmaceuticals for bioreactors, etc) relevant to IVM which could provide knock-on effects if they were accelerated?

I've previously been under the impression that cultured meat initiatives are somewhat scattered and unorganized, without a coherent long-term strategy. It's really great to hear that your organization is on top of all known efforts and are advancing a concrete path forward. Can you give us a rough step-by-step outline of your strategy to accelerate cultured meat development?

About 4 grams of mushrooms should do the trick.
Edit: thanks for the gold, generous stranger!
