Did you know that X-Art/Malibu Media makes a significant amount of their income from monetizing copyright?

Did you know that they have no problem suing people who are obviously innocent or suing people into bankruptcy?

I have no problem with creators of content trying to protect it, but I do have a problem with them monetizing the courts of the United States, both clogging them with literally thousands of cases and wasting my tax dollars in the process. I have a problem with the shell companies they create to hide these actions, using German nationals who can't be questioned in US courts. I have problems with the abusive litigation tactics used by X-Art in the court rooms, using the threat of being named in a porn suit as a scare tactic to force people to settle. So the next time you want to write a story on "hyper-tasteful porn" please take some time to familiarize yourself with the company you're writing about.

This article gives a great breakdown of what X-Art/Malibu Media are doing to abuse copyright in the US.

Small town paramedic here.

We just had a patient move into my area with an LVAD. He's coming to our monthly training in a couple of weeks to help us get to know his device. I got a sneak peek of it last week and the whole setup is amazing. However, his device has no manual backup. If the batteries die and there's no replacement he has a 15 minute backup. He also has a bag he carries with emergency wall/car plug-ins. How was your LVAD in comparison?

His heart is at a 12-15% ejection fraction so he's in a little better shape than you were. He's also on a transplant list so we're hoping he's not on the LVAD for too long. Really nice guy, just out of shape and his bad lifestyle caught up with him.
