I monetize my videos and I can say this is true on average, but I think it goes much higher. In the past 30 days, I've made $25.80 with 234 clicks and 11,577 views. The past week I've made $9.48 with 164 clicks and 2,268 views. I have monetized since last September, and I've gotten a lot of good fortune recently.

If he's getting 5,000,000 views per video, I would estimate $5,000-20,000 per video. So, if he makes these weekly, so maybe 45 videos per year, his "salary" could be $225,000+.

Same here. I might try it one day, but I'm perfectly fine not doing it now. I wouldn't mind it becoming legalized/regulated/decriminalized.

My guess is ad revenue and/or long responses. I don't really mind but I can see the issue for some.
