I am a father and if it makes you feel any better, I can tell you that it is actually a cause of joy and pride for a father to suffer for his child. It is simply a part of human's natural instincts.

Well I could certainly hear you out if you wished to tell me about it.

Hi Reza. Both Genghis Khan and Mohammad managed to unite a vast tribal land in a short time-span towards a common goal. They turned a scattered tribal system into a central government geared towards expansion.

Am I right to see many parallels between these two historical characters? Are there any fundamental differences between them in terms of their historical impact?

Thanks for responding my question.

Maybe I should have been more clear in my question. I meant Mohammad and the Caliph that followed. Didn't Mohammad unite most of the Arabian Peninsula by the time of his death and turned scattered tribes into a central government system and planted the seeds for the conquests that followed? And didn't both Mongols and Muslim Arabs conquer half of the civilized world with the power of their swords?

By the way, thanks for the great work. I am a fellow Iranian immigrant in California and an ex-Muslim. I always enjoy your writings and interviews. Also, thanks for supporting NIAC.

Because health insurance is not a civil right, it is a business. Sadly.
