Yea, before the show started I knew Tyrian and Joff were gana be the most loved/hated.

I cared more about John Snow while reading the book than I did watching the T.V series though.

I LOVED Arya too. The problem I had though, was here character develops pretty slowly. I read the first three books and it seemed like George kept holding back on finally bringing her out completley.

I can't wait though, Arya and Tyrian are my favorite characters and Arya would be number one if they would hurry up w/ her development :)

Oh and Bran.. can't find out what happens w/ him, I like him a lot too. The third book is when he starts to shine.

Reading the book, I always felt that he was the true main character of the story, but that could just because he's the opening character.

It seems like everything is really pivoting around the north but when you read the books, everything else is just so fully fleshed out you lose track yourself until every now and then, George brings you back to remind you what is really going down.

I forget her name, but the Dragon princess arc started off w/ me not caring much but that slowly changes as I read on and now I can't really tell what the overarching plot of the series is, which is super exciting for me.

It really does feel like you're watching multiple epic stories play out in this totally separate universe, there is no central protagonist or antagonist, really great books.

How young were your kids when you started? My dad did something similar w/ me and my siblings, but I was the oldest at about 6-7 years old.

We didn't travel the whole country, but I got to visit the grand canyon and four corners. All that stuff is lost on me. I ask how old your kids are because if they are under 12, it probably wasn't worth bringing them. Of course if you want to do something like a large trip you gata bring your kids, but what I mean is, when your kids are your age, they will probably want to do it again because the experience is lost on them :)

Someone hacked my friends website and when I visited it, it used some exploit in Firefox at the time (2005-6) to actually install shit on my Windows XP machine. All I did was visit the site because people were telling us it had a virus.

He had his site in his eve profile, we suspect someone we tried to ransom in game saw it and put the exploit there.

So if there a bugs in the browser they can potential control your entire machine (executing their own code) in some cases.
