Hey Ryan, huge fan! I'm always shocked by the places that you guys manage to bring a camera. How do you a) get in contact with some of these people (im thinking specifically about some of the people associated with criminal activity) and b) convince them to talk to you on camera?

I just want to say that I met this guy at a campaign event and he blew me away. with such a perfect record, i too was initially cynical. andover, harvard, the marines. come on, he looks like a guy who has been scheming since birth to get to the capitol.

but in real life he's not that smooth and not at all someone you would peg as a politician. he's very awkward and seems uncomfortable with attention. But he's sweet, and seems like a deeply thoughtful guy who truly cares about service (you may join the military to get political cred but you dont go back on three more tours because you want to look good) and was tapped by his party because, lets face it, on paper he's the perfect candidate.

my opinion counts for shit but i really like the guy and hope he goes far. just my two cents from a short, chance encounter. (friend of a friend volunteers on his campaign)
