OMG, yes! Mexican food is can also take time to prepare, and those hours spent stewing, simmering, flavoring SHOULD result in an increase in price.

I'm picky about Mexican food. I'm picky about Puertorican food ( I'm Puertorican) and it should never be looked down upon.

The first time I made authentic puertorican beef stew, it took almost 4 hours. I sat down, took a bite, and was instantly transported "a la Ratatouille scene" back to my abuela's kitchen when I was 8 years old.

Anyway, I digress. But I agree with you 100%.

correct. you can always tell who the residents are - they are the most hungry, always wanting the most free food during company lunches.

Some start as low as 30k, btw. And they are usually stuck with this salary for a few years become moving to fellow ( slightly higher pay at 40-50k) then on to Attending.

Where I went to high school, you could take college classes in high school(particularly the req classes). Lots of kids did this.

Also, there were two people in my class that graduated at 16 and 17 (I was the 17 year old one, but I didn't rush into college). If you were 16 or 17, or heck, even 18 and took a heavy college load, and started the summer after high school graduation, or fall, you could easily graduate in 2 or 3 years.

If you take 4 classes for 2 semesters a year, it takes 4 years. If you take 6-7 classes per semester and go during winter and summer break as well (1-2 classes), it's possible. And people have done it, though it seems mind breaking.

And many masters programs are 1 or 2 year programs. If it takes 5 years, you probably went part time because you had a job or whatever.

I went to high school in california, got my undergrad and grad in NY.

What are your thoughts on the nature vesus nurture theory? I've always been interested in human behavior, and while I believe the certain illnesses can come from chemical imbalances, I was a bit discouraged that everything was blamed on lack or too much of dopamine and seratonin. (But this was back in my psych classes in 2009)

I always was more interested in Freud, and how many people were changed by how they were raised, by their mother, or by the people they interacted with.

An archaic way of thinking, I guess.....but lots of people I've discussed this with seem to point to a turning event in their lives that changed them, and it usually involved people.
