Thanks for the answer. It's not so much that I'm against a larger businesses or mass production; I like David Nicholson 1843 for cheap inexpensive bourbon. It's bottled in St. Louis but distilled in Kentucky, but if something pretends to be small batch and isn't, I don't want to mess with it.

Just order it from Indiana! I'm kidding, but I would like to know how to tell real craft production whisk(e)y from mass produced stuff masquerading as craft.
