Not sure what country you’re in but in the UK you can go through brokers - spec up the model you want and they then put it out to the dealer network which then bid down for your business. I saved a few grand on a new Audi S3 a few years ago - got a brokers quote (think the Audi dealership that provided it was up in Scotland somewhere) took the quote into my local dealership and they matched it.
