Down Syndrome is not diagnosis of doom. Many people can and do live full rich quality lives

I have to somewhat disagree with this point, the average life expectancy of individuals with downs syndrome is a fair bit lower and they are at a much higher risk of developing Alzheimer's disease in their 50s, not to mention the whole slew of health issues already related with downs syndrome. Yes they can live relatively full lives I just can't agree that they live equally rich lives.
