I went to MDA camp till I aged out, I had a blast I'm sure he will love it. It was the highlight of my year each time I went. If he gets to choose a counselor (buddy) ask for Brian. They'll know who you're talking about. He's a great guy and we still chat years later!

Sounds just right lmao. Wheelchair hockey was my favorite. We had a guy get his chair stuck almost a mile in the woods between two trees. Had to have him carried out and took apart the chair to get it out of the jam. It's fun just to have that one week to be a normal person and do stuff that you never thought you could do. And the counselors all end up friends for life with whoever they get assigned to help. I talk with 7 out of the 8 counselors I had through my years there. Only reason not 8/8 because he got deployed and we lost contact. Still don't know what happened or where he is. Hopefully safe and home tho
