Do you need training to use it correctly? My grandfather suffers from Macular Degeneration but doesn't live in Canada and is too old to travel.

How long does the training usually take? Also is there a measure for the potential effectiveness of the device depending on the individual's state?

My grandfather has severe degeneration but he can still see, barely, shapes and tones. He uses a huge magnifier to read letter by letter. It would completely change his life if this works.

Also are there any potential payment plans available?

Sorry to ask so many questions but if this works for him it would be phenomenal. He's 90 years old but still very sharp.
