Hi I'm diabetic and drink 4 Mountain Dews a day and don't take my medicine. I fell. LIFT ASSIST PLEASE?

(I hope that stressed you out) :P

My friend was a firefighter in Gwinnett County, GA., and was held hostage for a few days. Bad situation. Thanks for all you do.

Crap, could have swore last time we talked you said it was a few days. I was drinking that giant-ass beer that apparently is legal in your state.

I don't really have a question, and I appreciate what your research does to help learning. However, I can't help but be extremely resentful at MHE every time I have to pay around $100 for the ability to do my homework in college classes when I've already paid tuition and bought books. And then, it's just a pre-made test bank. so really I have no idea what the professor is there for if they have to follow the MHE curriculum for the test banks to line up.

Oh well, that's the end of my bitter rant.

Phil:

In 2005, my mother was nearly crippled by rheumatoid arthritis. She could get around the house, and make it to the doctor, but that was about it. She had always wanted to travel, but my father died in '93 and raising me as a single parent didn't leave a lot of room in the budget for travel (not that we had a lot of money to begin with).

When The Amazing Race came on, she was hooked, because she loved seeing all the places you guys went to. In her own words, at that point in her life she would never get to travel, but being able to sit down and watch The Amazing Race brought a lot of joy to her. I was in college at the time, and I had people to help take care of her during the week, and would visit every weekend. Every Sunday before I left, we (her, my fiancé, and me) would sit and watch the new episodes. The last Christmas present I bought her, after getting my first real job, was the biggest TV I could afford so she could see your show in the best possible way. She passed in 2007, but your show still holds a special place in my heart because of the happiness it brought my mom.

I don't have a question. I just wanted to share something important to me with you, and I hope it brings some light to your day. Thanks so much.

Hey man. Thanks so much for what you did for those kids! A lot of people don't understand what a big deal it was for us here in Birmingham. It's kinda like when the hurricane hit New Jersey. In the South, that would have been nothing really - we'd be drinking beer and slowing down a bit, but other than that life would go on. But to New Jersey it was a big deal because they just don't deal with stuff like that on a regular basis.

No real questions, I just wanted you to know that I saw what you did on the news and showed my 12 year old daughter. She remembers you from when you came to her elementary school here in Homewood, and was a huge fan, so she was like "Oh yeah, he was awesome!" You have a huge impact on a lot of kids, and in a very positive manner, so just keep being awesome.
