I think this is his inexperience speaking. Personally working in the tech world you call everyone by their first name and we don’t pay attention to titles. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt even if it could be an implicit bias after all.

I think that a universal basic income is to help guarantee that people have the support to make ends meet. I would encourage you to look into it more. I’m still learning and remain skeptical of it. I love pizza too so if we can figure a way to make this work then let’s do it.
