Do you support the confiscation of 529 plans in order to support free 2 year education for all?

Obama proposed this in his state of the union a few years back.

Excuse me, but taxing the hell out of a 529 plan that was billed as a tax free unit for growth is confiscation of my money I set aside for my children. If other people want college that's fine, but don't ask me to pay for it. If people or their families can't afford it, they can shoot for scholarships or join the military like I did.
