Its not really that bad most of the time. Often tracking is just a company trying to find a way to monetize that isn't asking you to pay for their content. Imagine if you had to pay to view every website?

Obviously though people do want to keep their information to themselves for various reasons or just like to know who has it. I think that its fine for companies to do this and fine for people to know what they're doing or prevent them from getting their information if they please.

Not quite, out of staters are allowed 1/4 ounce per visit. They can possess up to an ounce. Therefore if they make four trips in a single day they can have their ounce.
