In my case, for the inspiration part, i think got interested in some strange art / media projects back in the day. I picked up the RE/Search publication called "Pranks" in 1988 and realized that some amazing people were very serious about stuff that I never imagined you could be serious about, but was super interested in. That's a really fun book - check it out if you get a chance.

YES! do you have any ideas on how to participate? You can always contact us directly to discuss. Too bad we didn't know you before we went there a few months ago. Very, very surreal place!

How can it not? Just kidding. Lots of great stuff going on there--- like any town in America, encourage the growth of local stuff that works and feeds the local economy, discourage the big corporate vampires that only want our blood.

Also, we're not really that famous! Very rare to get recognized on the street. Also, we are working with lots of other people, so many new faces are taking the spotlight. That helps – if you think you are one of those people who can stand in front of an audience and convincingly represent, say, Exxon, then get in touch!

We've been sued by the US Chamber of Commerce! You can see a video of the action here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flsNwClU1dI
But the US Chamber are the only ones who have sued us! Probably because everyone else we've targeted has some kind of brand that they need to protect, and if they sue us we can use the attention to put them on trial in the court of public opinion. In the case of the US Chamber, since they are a big nasty lobbying organization, they only need to please the top .01 percent of the population - which i think they probably do, just a little bit, by suing us. Right now the lawsuit is sitting on a judges desk in DC, waiting for him to rule whether it goes to trial or not. If it does, we welcome a chance to talk to the public about everything that is wrong with the US Chamber of Commerce.
