Amazon priced it at free? Does that mean you don't get paid?

Wow! That seems kinda shady. What is to stop someone from throwing your book up somewhere for free and killing your sales? I'm working on a book and was planing on amazon. Now I am not so sure.

Did they consult you or was it a surprise?

Yeah. I don't enjoy writing, broke and unemployed so a couple of bucks for my hard work would be welcome.
