*Related: *anyone who has read this book can recall a story where a guy tried to wriggle out of a jail sentence by pleading insanity and faking symptoms. Of course he found it wasn't the holiday camp he was expecting, so he tried to explain, but he wasn't believed. Then he started a process of full co-operation, then of non co-operation, then silence - anything to try and show he didn't belong there. Whatever he tried didn't help one bit. After contacting the author of the book he managed to persuade him to speak to the hospital authorities to explain that he was faking it all.

When the author did the doctor said that he knew he was faking it, but that he was staying in because he was displaying psychopathic behaviour by trying to manipulate everyone and every system around him, including the author. A proper Catch 22.

She gets extra points for dedication. :-)
