Does your syndrome effect your jaw bones? I was curious after the implant question.

Interesting. I read they are doing lots of work in regrowing enamel, wonder if it would help this situation in the future.

Hi Alex, I'm so happy that you are able to live independently! My baby half brother has down syndrome and was raised by my dad and step mom, who both spoil him rotten and never encouraged him to be independent. I don't know that he will ever have the ability to live alone, not that he isn't smart or capable enough, they just haven't even taught him all the necessary skills. I am worried what will happen to him when my dad and step mom are gone. Two questions. Do you have any advice for another person with down syndrome on how to live independently and any tips/tricks you use. Also, are/were you scared to live alone in your house?
