I don't see the Democrats doing a lot to fight that decision. They seem to be playing ball nicely. I guess I would too if I was getting fat stacks of cash.

Can you tell me why I should know my rights, when police officers don't have to respect my rights?

First, the ACA is a very old school Republican policy. There's nothing liberal about forcing everyone to buy private insurance. We had 8 years Bush and guess what? We still have abortion rights. Gay marriage will be decided by the courts. Net Neutrality is going to fail because of money in politics.

Second, how do the rest of those concerns stack up to the overarching issue of money controlling our country? The Republicans and the Democrats are driving this bus the same way, the Democrats are just going slower as to not jostle everyone too much. We're getting raped by both, the Democrats are just using lube.

The second amendment rights are being decided by the courts. Recent cases have given handgun rights to people who have been denied them for a long time. Everyone thought that when Obama came in he was going to steal everyone's guns. Did that happen? No. If anything gun rights have expanded in the past few years with everyone and their brother getting handgun permits.

Stop being scared of boogeyman wedge issues.

Both parties have been utterly corrupted by money and the very first thing that needs to happen in order to restore the balance of power in the political realm is to eliminate the absurd amounts of money flowing down from corporate interests and wealthy people into the pockets of our politicians.

How do we fight that if we're just going to keep picking between the major players of the 2 parties? If it's the first thing that needs to happen, how do we fight that if we're just going to pick between people who don't care about it? Bernie Sanders is the only candidate with a chance who would do anything about it.
